LOOK: World’s largest gold ring on display at UAE

Residents and expats can now see the world’s largest gold ring, Najmat Taiba (Stars of Taiba), at the Sahara Centre, Sharjah, until June.

The 21-carat ring holds the Guinness Book of World Record title as it weighs 64 kilograms studded with more than 5kg of diamonds, 615 Swarovski crystals, and other valuable stones, reported The National.

The monster ring is valued at about Dh11 million (approximately Ph152,677,962.80).

The monstrous jewellery is owned by Dubai-based Taiba which will then be displayed by Rosella Jewellery.

Back then, the ring cost Dh2 million (Ph27,886,366.19) to make when gold’s price was only at Dh918 (Ph12,745.14).
