The Miss Universe’s official Facebook page has released the introduction video of Philippine’s representative Rachel Peters to the prestigious pageant wherein she talked about and showed her passion for surfing.
Highlighted in the video is the beautiful bay of Camarines Sur where Peters currently live.
“The first time I tried surfing, it’s so addictive and when you catch your first wave, the adrenaline rush you get is so amazing. If it weren’t for sun burn, I would be surfing all day long,” Peters narrated on the video.
The beauty queen also shared in the video the things make keep her going and never tire to live life to the fullest.
“I have the whole Philippines behind me. They inspire me, they motivate me. Even when I’m tired and I’m jet-lagged, reading their messages makes me want to get up and do good for them,” Peters said.
“While you’re here in this earth,”she said, “Do what you love, be with the people that you love and spread as much love and kindness to as many people as you can.”
