Light to heavy rains have drenched parts of the UAE this past few days. This weather condition is expected to continue over the weekend as convective clouds are forecasted to form in the afternoon over some regions of the country.
The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) announced on Twitter, “Thursday to Sunday weather will be partly cloudy and hazy at times, hot during daytime and mild at night and early morning. Convective clouds will form over the Eastern regions and some Southern regions in the afternoon causing rainfall.”

Fog or mist formation is also expected over the coasts and the western region of the country on Saturday morning until Monday.
On Wednesday, September 6, heavy rains flooded parts of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.
