The official Twitter account of Louvre Abu Dhabi, which is expected to be opened to the public in November, teased its followers with a time-lapse video of the Dh4 billion infrastructure.
Louvre Abu Dhabi shared an image of the completely shaped exterior of the museum that stands out amid the night lights.

Last month, Louvre Abu Dhabi also posted a glimpse of the museum’s interior, where details of the mesh dome can be seen.

According to museum officials, the structure’s geometric dome weighs as much as Eiffel Tower in Paris at 7,500 tons.

Once completed, the Jean Nouvel-designed infrastructure will feature on-loan paintings from Agence France-Museums and the Musee du Louvre in France, including Leonardo Da Vinci’s “La Belle Ferronnière”, Vincent Van Gogh’s self-portrait, Jacques-Louis David’s “Napoleon Cross the Alps”, and Claude Monet’s “Gare Saint-Lazare”.
The museum will also house 300 art piece from French museums and 700 installations acquired by the Emirati group.
