The president was born in 1945, Year of the Wood Rooster
‘Duterte will be more prone to hot-headedness as the ‘argumentative star’ enters the Rooster zodiac.
Internationally-acclaimed Feng Shui Master, Marites Allen said 2017 will be a combination of good and bad luck for President Duterte.
According to Allen, Duterte can expect good fortune as he enters his wealth luck period. However, she warned that Duterte, born in 1945, will be more prone to hot-headedness as the “argumentative star” enters the Rooster zodiac. She also said he will face challenges when it comes to people and relationships.
“Rooster is a metal element in nature. It’s like a sword, like a sharp object. So there is going to be a lot of backstabbing, even your good friends will turn against you,” Allen said.
Allen also said Duterte might face health issues. “Illness issues are very strong, because Duterte being a fire person, you produce a so-called earth element energy, therefore it’s affecting his health.”
Meanwhile, when it comes to the president’s relationship with Vice President Robredo, Allen said it will not be smooth-sailing.
Vice President Leni Robredo was born in the year of the Dragon; and the Rooster and Dragon are “secret friends.”
However, in the case of President Duterte and Vice-President Robredo, there’s an added complication because of the feng shui elements associated with them, said Allen.
“In terms of affinity, they’re supposed to be a match made in heaven. But in terms of my analysis, she’s actually a water person. Water and fire are opposing elements. What puts off the fire is water.”
Being a Wood Rooster, Duterte, according to Chinese astrology, has the attributes of strength and flexibility like the bamboo. The Wood Rooster is also associated with qualities of warmth, generosity, cooperation and idealism.
“The Wood person will be expansive, outgoing and socially conscious. The wood element is one that seeks ways to grow and expand. Wood heralds the beginning of life, springtime and buds, sensuality and fecundity. Wood needs moisture to thrive,” according to Chinese astrology.
The 2017 Chinese New Year was marked on January 28, with many festivities beginning as early as a few days earlier. The celebrations will last till the so-called Lantern Festival on Feb. 11.
