Bahrain International Television will be airing a Korean TV series, “Love in the Moonlight,” for the first time by virtue of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Korean Embassy in Bahrain and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Signed by Korean Ambassador to Bahrain Hyunmo Koo and Undersecretary Abdulrahman, the MoU establishes a collaboration between the Korean Embassy and the Bahrain International Television.
Duaa Hashim, acting head of Bahrain International Television, said in a statement that the Korean drama is a “gift” from the Korean Embassy.
“’Love in the Moonlight’ is a gift presented by the Korean Embassy to the International Channel as part of the cultural exchanges and broader close relations between the two countries,” he said.
Set to run early this May until the second half of this year, the Korean TV series is a romantic comedy about a crown prince who fell in love with a young woman posing as a man. The Korean TV series is one of the most popular shows in Korea which gained a 23.3 percent viewer rating.
