The United Arab Emirates is expected to experience hot and dusty weather through the weekend, with temperatures forecast to reach as high as 47°C in inland areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
Forecasters said conditions on Wednesday and Thursday will be generally fair, although fresh northwesterly winds may generate blowing dust and sand, reducing visibility in exposed areas.
Maximum temperatures are expected to range from 42°C to 47°C inland, 36°C to 42°C along coastal areas and islands, and 32°C to 38°C in mountainous regions.
The National Centre of Meteorology said wind speeds could reach up to 40 kilometers per hour, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf may become rough at times.
Humidity levels are expected to increase beginning Friday night and continuing into Saturday morning, creating conditions favorable for fog or mist formation in some coastal and inland areas.
Clouds are also expected to develop over parts of eastern UAE on Saturday, while humid conditions may persist along coastal areas through Sunday morning.
Meteorologists said fair weather is expected to prevail by Sunday, although occasional dusty conditions may continue in some western areas before winds gradually ease.
