“Do not come to the airport”: DXB issues travel advisory due to weather conditions

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is urging passengers to avoid unnecessary travel to the airport due to severe weather conditions. Flights are being delayed and diverted, prompting Dubai Airports to advise passengers to check directly with their airlines for updates.

“We advise you NOT to come to the airport, unless absolutely necessary,” said DXB in their social media advisory.

Emirates Airlines has suspended travel procedures for departing passengers from Dubai until midnight on April 18th, citing operational challenges caused by the adverse weather and road conditions.

Cebu Pacific has also issued an advisory for traveling Filipinos to Dubai, mentioning delays caused by the water logging experienced in the airport.

Despite the disruptions, procedures for arriving and transit passengers remain unaffected.

Dubai Airports reassures passengers of ongoing efforts to restore operations swiftly.
