President Bongbong Marcos and several members of his Cabinet paid their respects to the late Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Toots Ople on Wednesday at the Heritage Park in Taguig.
Marcos was joined by First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos. House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Justice Secretary Boying Remulla and Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco also attended Ople’s wake.
Senator Cynthia Villar and her husband, former Senator Manny Villar were also at the wake
“It is a great loss for all of us. It is a great loss for all of us over my friend. It is a great loss to the Philippines for the service we know she could have still rendered,” Marcos previously said.
