According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), over 3,800 families have been displaced by the unrest of Mayon Volcano.
This amounts to approximately 13,800 individuals across 21 barangays in the Bicol Region.
Currently, 3,700 families or 13,100 individuals are seeking shelter in 21 evacuation centers, while others have found refuge with relatives and friends.
The figures are subject to change as validation efforts continue.
The Bicol Region has received assistance worth PHP25.6 million, including food packs, water, tents, and hygiene kits.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has also extended support by providing more than 50 tons of humanitarian aid, which was flown in via chartered flight.

Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. of the Department of the Interior and Local Government expressed gratitude to the UAE government on behalf of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for their timely assistance, marking the first international aid received for the victims of the Mayon volcano unrest.
