A 5-year-old Filipino boy has been honored by Dubai Police for returning AED4,000 worth of cash.
The boy named Nigel Ners discovered the cash in the Al Qusais district and handed it over to his father who delivered it to the police station.
Nigel was awarded with a certificate of appreciation.
Brig. Abdulhalim Muhammad Al Hashmi, Director of Al Qusais Police Station, described the child as a role model for others.
He added that the example set by the boy strengthens the police-community partnership in the emirate and reinforces a sense of responsibility among residents.
