The daily COVID-19 count will drop to less than 1,000 in the Philippines by the end of November, the OCTA Research Group has pointed out.
The infections are consistently declining as the number of vaccinated Filipinos has grown.
OCTA fellow Prof. Guido David said that the COVID-19 cases have seen a drop. He said that the cases have declined and the 7-day average in the Philippines is now 1,400. David said that they were expecting that the cases will go down to less than 1,000 by the end of the month.

He said that he hoped that the 7-day average for Metro Manila, which is at 346, would still go down.
“We reached a plateau of between 300 and 400 last year and we want the number of cases to go down further,” David said.
The positivity rate in Metro Manila is now down to 2 percent and the hospital utilization rate has also declined. (AW)
