The Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Taiwan are unmoved by the tensions between Taiwan and China.
Labor Attaché to Taichung Bienvenido Cerbo said none among the OFWs in Taiwan are troubled by the looming attack by China.

“Right now, our modern day heroes in Taiwan are not showing worries,” he said.
Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Taichung said that the OFWs have no concerns, questions, or doubts.

The OFWs are more concerned with other matters than the political tensions and are looking at settling their mundane matters including finishing their basketball tournaments as well as seeking assistance or financial aid.
POLO in Taiwan has already undertaken steps in preparation for possible hostilities and has updated inventories, profiles, and contact numbers of OFWs as well as assigned coordinators. (AW)
