Madame Tussauds Dubai set to open this October: Here’s all you need to know

Madame Tussauds, which will officially open on October 14, is offering limited tickets (online from Dh135) for exclusive previews on October 8 and 9 and ‘best value tickets’ from October 14.

Visitors will be able to get photographed with 60 international stars from different fields, including sports, movies, politics, among others, including 16 figures from the Middle East.

In addition to the impressive wax figure library, there will be seven specially designed themed rooms, which will include a party area along with a dance floor.

Madame Tussauds Dubai will feature figures of famous personalities and celebrities including Queen Elizabeth II, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Madame Tussauds Dubai will also house wax figures of Connor McGregor, Kylie Jenner, Queen Elizabeth II, Justin Bieber, Cara Delevingne, Victoria Beckham, Audrey Hepburn, Lewis Hamilton and many more, including the recently revealed Balqees Fathi and Mohammed Assaf.

A limited number of tickets would be available for an exclusive sneak peek on October 8 and 9. Prices for the tickets, available at Madame Tussauds Dubai website, start at Dhs135 for adults, Dhs110 for children 3 to 11, while entry for under three children is free.

Ticket holders can revalidate their ticket to visit on a later date as the booking guarantee allows them to move the ticket up to five times, with the flexibility to move bookings up to 24 hours before arrival time, a FAQ on the site said.
The attraction can be found at Bluewaters, close to the also soon-to-open Ain Dubai.

“Step into your favourite films in the world of movies,” says a statement from Madame Tussauds, Dubai. “Join Audrey Hepburn at a table in Tiffany and put on diamond necklaces and fur shawls. Star alongside Spiderman as you hang off a building high above Dubai. Or be part of an epic bike chase with Tom Cruise as you join him on the back of his bike.”

The company has also announced Covid-19 safety measures for the safety of visitors and staff. It includes lower capacity and face covering during the visit. Some staff may be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

There will be enhanced cleaning, hygiene stations, and hand sanitizer for guests at key locations. (AW)
