If the elections in 2022 were held today and will be up between former senator Bongbong Marcos and Vice President Leni Robredo, the son of the former dictator said that he can win against her.
“If it’s going to be a one-on-one fight, that will be good because I know I can win that,” Marcos said in an interview in a Kapihan sa Manila Bay forum.

Marcos and Robredo have yet to announce their final 2022 plans. But Robredo defeated Marcos during the 2016 vice-presidential elections.
Marcos challenged the poll decision but also failed to turn around the results of the elections.

He has filed a motion for reconsideration but the presidential electoral tribunal has yet to decide.
“Because of the pandemic, na-delay na nang na-delay. Because kung minsan, ‘di na sila makapag-en banc. So, they cannot attend to this as well as they used to be able to,” Marcos added. (TDT)
