A 59-year old man shot himself dead after killing his live-in partner and her two children.
The 25-year-old woman and her two babies, a one-year-old and seven-month-old, died after sustaining gunshot wounds in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
The victims were identified as Rose Egca, and her girl, and a boy child. The accused Raymundo Diaz, 59, who was Egca’s live-in partner later shot himself.

Egca had sustained a bullet wound on the forehead while the two children were shot in the head and face and while the mother and her children died on arrival at the hospital the accused died during treatment.
The incident was triggered after a fight between Egca and Diaz as the woman allegedly wanted to go home to their house in Binalbagan to celebrate her birthday.
An argument ensued between the two and later the housemaid reported to police that she heard the gunshots. (AW)
