Ten Filipinos have refused to be evacuated from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan and decided to stay back in the country.
According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, these OFWs decided not to leave the country due to their commitments at work.

While 182 Filipinos have been airlifted so far, 27 still remain in the country.
The DFA said 17 have requested their company or Philippine government evacuation and not all Filipinos who left Afghanistan have returned to the Philippines.
Five Filipinos, who were rescued by the Indonesian military in Kabul, have already returned to Manila and are undergoing quarantine.
