More than 70 buses that will be fitted with the Wifi internet facility and will emit low carbon will operate daily across the UAE to ferry people to the Dubai Expo 2020.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said it has identified nine locations in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah for the services and the buses will operate 193 daily trips during the weekdays, and 213 on Thursdays and Fridays.

Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, director-general and chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA, said with this public transport will become an ideal choice for Expo visitor
The RTA has dedicated a fleet of low carbon emission public buses with standards of Euro 6 buses, said Al Tayer.

Among other features, the buses will have dedicated seats for children, WiFi service, USB charging ports, and an array of smart systems. (AW)
