Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas retains his WBA super welterweight title after defeating Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao via unanimous decision on Sunday, August 22.
Pacquiao has suffered an eighth career loss after this fight.

During the bout, Ugas tried to connect to Pacquiao’s body a number of times but the Pinoy boxing champion took the offensive approach.
Ugas then improved on his defensive in the second round and gave Pacquiao a bruised right eye.
The Cuban boxer was able to improve his style further giving PacMan less opportunity to land his punches.

The judges scored 115-113, 116-112, 116-112 for Ugas.
The boxer was not the original contender of Pacquiao. Errol Spence backed out from the match due to an eye injury. (TDT)
