Metro Manila has been reclassified as high risk again due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.
The Department of Health said that apart from Metro Manila, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Visayas, and Northern Mindanao are also under “high risk”.

The six regions recorded an increase in their average daily attack rates (ADAR), or the number of confirmed cases in a certain area or population.
The DOH said that healthcare utilization rate in NCR is 46.52% while its intensive care utilization rate is 54.82%.
Metro Manila will shift back to the strictest form of quarantine on August 6 to contain the spread of the Delta COVID-19 cases.

6,879 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded on Tuesday, increasing the overall total to 1,612,541.
63,137 are considered active cases or patients currently ill because of the virus. (TDT)
