Saudi Arabia has announced that it will bar entry of unvaccinated people from entering the premises of shopping malls.
Saudi Ministry of Commerce stated that the decision will take effect starting August 1.

Ministry of Commerce Spokesman Abdulrahman Al-Hussein told state tv that those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or those who received first dose of the jab will be allowed to access to shopping malls.
He said the move is aimed at encouraging the public to take the vaccine.
The ministry earlier announced that vaccination will be required for people who intend to join sporting events, participate in cultural activities and enter various private and public establishments starting August 1.

Access to government or private educational facilities, as well as public transport, will also be restricted.
The kingdom has so far administered 15.7 million doses of COVID-19 jabs. (RA)
