“It’s basically a symbolic rollout. Ang mangyayari dito it’s a pledging ceremony that both LGUs and private sector will commit–kasama namin dyan to really do our best to inoculate as fast as possible,” Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion told ABS-CBN News.

Concepcion said that the private sector is ready to vaccinate essential workers but there is a problem in the supply of COVID-19 vaccines.

An initial 1.17 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines are expected to arrive in July intended for the economic frontliners and the private sector.
