Abu Dhabi to increase numbers of buses for commuters this August 19

Commuters in Abu Dhabi will soon benefit from the increased frequencies of buses around the city this August.

Due to social distancing measures, the maximum number of individuals allowed in each bus is only 16 persons.

In line with this, the Integrated Transport Centre in the UAE’s capital has announced several measures meant to provide more public transport vehicles on the roads to provide access for more commuters.

Bus routes A1, A2, A10, A20, A40, B43 and 45 (X9 before) will also be activated and follow normal operating hours. Bus routes 70, A18, and A19 will remain inactive.

All other existing bus routes will start working with normal operating hours.

Meanwhile, in Mussafah, community bus services M01, M02, M03, M04, and M05 will be activated and operated as paid routes under the integrated fare system.
