The Philippine Pavilion officially opened Monday at Gulfood 2026 in Expo City Dubai, showcasing the country’s finest food and beverage products in the international stage.
The 31st edition of Gulfood, one of the world’s largest food and hospitality trade shows, runs at the Dubai Exhibition Centre until Jan. 30. The pavilion gives international buyers a chance to sample products and explore business partnerships in the MENA region.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Alfonso Ferdinand Ver, Consul General Ambrosio Brian F. Enciso III, Trade Commissioner Vichael Roaring, DTI Assistant Secretary Leonila Baluyut, and Consul Aleah Gica.
Over five days, 25 Philippine manufacturers will showcase a variety of products, including artisan delicacies, tropical fruits, plant-based foods, ready-to-eat meals, beverages, bakery items, and condiments.

The pavilion also offers pre-arranged B2B meetings to connect exhibitors with trade buyers, as well as live product demonstrations so visitors can taste the unique flavors of the Philippines.
Organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry’s export promotion arm, the pavilion aims to strengthen the Philippines’ presence in the global food market and attract investors from the Middle East and other regions.
