Get a taste of your favorite childhood memories with REBISCO

Many Filipino expats always regard miryenda or snack time as an integral part of their younger years. Getting a bite of their favorite brownie or gobbling up on “kornik” (local nuts) while taking a break from street games or watching afternoon cartoons—there really is quite nothing like those moments.

And whenever we think of those moments, REBISCO’s Fudgee Barr and Ding Dong nuts always come to mind. As one of the pioneers of the Philippine snack food industry, REBISCO has indeed become part of the childhood of many Filipinos.

Nowadays, REBISCO is one of the many premium Filipino brands that is exclusively imported by Shankar Trading Co. L.L.C (STC) for UAE shelves for many Pinoys and expats from other nationalities to enjoy.

As STC offers wide linkages to major retail stores in the UAE, Filipino expats will no longer miss their home so much as Fudgee Bar and Ding Dong, along with many of REBISCO’s snacks, are now readily available in the UAE.

REBISCO’s Fudgee Barr offers inside-out goodness with its soft cake partnered with creamy and delectable fillings. Any type of sweet tooth will get their palates satisfied with its various flavors, including Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Milk, Vanilla, Macapuno, Mocha and Durian.

Ding Dong, on the other hand, is a great snack for all seasons as it offers your much-loved assortment of nibbles comprising peanuts, corn bits, U.S. grade green peas, corn chips and curls. With its contrasting yet harmonizing flavors, Ding Dong provides the ultimate snacking experience anyone can enjoy. You can choose also any type of salty medley you want, whether it’s Mixed Nuts, Snack Mix, Mixed Nuts – Hot and Spicy, Snack – Sweet and Spicy, Snack Mix – Sweet Barbeque, Or Snack Mix with Chips and Curls.

REBISCO has a long history dating back to its humble beginnings from a neighborhood bakeshop in old San Juan, Metro Manila in 1963. Back then, it started out with the company name ‘England Biscuit Factory’ offering then flagship brands like Crema (the first cream sandwich) as well as Sodatine (plain crackers) as their first products offered for the public.

With steady growth, the company moved to Novaliches, Quezon City to a more spacious factory to accommodate their operations. By 1972, the company rebranded into the REBISCO that Filipinos have long recognized for decades.

Apart from REBISCO’s Fudgee Barr and Ding Dong, STC has also brought several of REBISCO’s other popular products like Happy Nuts, Cupp Keyk, Doowee Donut for packaged cakes, Rebisco Crackers, Hansel Sandwich for biscuits, Choco Mucho for chocolate and wafers, and now Creamline for ice cream.
