A teacher’s story in Butuan City is now viral after she was seen taking care of her student’s baby during a quiz.
The heart-warming scene took place at Saint Joseph Institute of Technology.
Teacher Clariz Lasala posted on her social media accounts how one of her students asked her permission not to take the quiz because no one will look after her baby.
“Take the quiz and I’ll take care of your baby,” Lasala told her student.
Lasala added that she was inspired by her student’s courage to bring her own child to the school despite being a young mom.
“Entering the school with the baby was courageous for me. Especially Grade 12 palang siya so sabi ko sa sarili ko bakit naman hindi ako mag coconsider,” she said.
So she decided to take care of the baby while watching her students take the quiz.
“This experience is from above to help me become a person for others and I count this as a blessing. I am blessed and truly full,” she said in a viral Twitter post.
