The Bayanihan Council in Abu Dhabi, the umbrella organization of the Filipino organizations in the emirate, is now underway with their plans for the upcoming 121st Philippine Independence Day Celebrations (PIDC) in the capital that is expected to take place at the Abu Dhabi Breakwater Theater this coming June 21.

“May mga twists tayo compared to last year. Ngayon, nakapag level up tayo when it comes to the program and events. I asked participating organizations to come up with ideas and concepts during the event to promote and bring forth the brand of modern Global Filipinos,” said Elmer Casao, Bayanihan Chairman who also serves as this year’s Chairman of the 121st PIDC in Abu Dhabi.

Included in the line-up of events are Bayanihan Council holds 2019 Philippine Independence Day celebrations in Abu Dhabi the parade and opening ceremonies that will celebrate the Philippines’ cultural dances, Himig Pinoy – a singing competition, as well as Abu Dhabi’s annual Mutya ng Kasarinlan, the beauty contest that celebrates the beauty, brains, and charisma of a true Filipina.
