The Philippines has only two seasons — the hot and dry, and the rainy and cool. While there are cold places in the country such as Baguio, Tagaytay, or Sagada, experiencing snow is still perhaps one of the most common wish among Filipinos.
In case you just want to visualize what your the Philippines would look like with snow, the works of graphic artist Kurt Ian is definitely one for the books.
In a Facebook post, Ferrer shared some photos of some location in Metro Manila and covered the entire place with a blanket of white snow.
“I tested how would it took like if Philippines could sometimes experience winter,” Ferrer said.
He said that he took some photos from Google Maps and edited it to turn Metro Manila into a winter wonderland.
In one photo, several vehicles under the Light Rail Transit (LRT) station were seen covered with snow as they drive along the highway.
In another photo, some sari-sari stores and trees were transformed to a winter scenery. The people in the second photo are also seen wearing some winter clothing.
Many netizens commended Ferrer for his skills and were amused by how different the Philippines would look if it can experience winter too.
