Mario Maurer hopes Pinay celebrity will stop spreading ‘fantasized stories’ about him

A representative from the camp of Thai superstar Mario Maurer issued a statement expressing the actor’s surprise when he found out that a Filipina celebrity was using his name in the last eight years.

The representative named Kris Chaovalit said that Maurer loves his Filipino fans but he appeals to stop spreading fantasized stories about him.

The representative, according to Push, did not drop the name of the celebrity but it’s clear that he’s alluding to comedienne Kakai Bautista.

They also confirmed that the cease and desist letter they sent to Kakai Bautista’s management last March is “legit”.

The two worked together for the Star Cinema film “Suddenly It’s Magic” in 2012.

“With regard to all the false stories made by this Filipino personality against Thai celebrity Mario Maurer and his management team, as well as our partner representative in the Philippines, we asked Mario directly for clarity and to shed light on the matter,” the representative said in a statement.

The representative explained why Maurer acknowledged his friendship with the actress before.

“He acknowledged that by nature, he is merely being accommodating and respectful at the time. But that does not mean this person should use his welcoming hospitality to invent stories beyond working with Mario.

“Despite the non-stop trolling he is now experiencing from supporters of this person from the Philippines, Mario wishes her well and hopes that she finally stops spreading these false fantasy stories about him being involved with her romantically when it has always been just a cordial work-related tie between them,” the hunk actor’s camp said.
