Former Kapuso actress Rich Asuncion is now living a happy and blessed life in Australia.
The actress is married to husband Benjamin Mudie and they have a two year old daughter named Bela.
Last July, Rich said that she was offered to take on a job at a daycare center. She is also working as a waitress in Australia.
In an interview with Pep.ph, Rich described her life away from the limelight.
“Sa totoo lang, enjoy ako sa work ko as a waitress. Nagagamit ko kasi ang background ko sa Tourism and hospitality. Tsaka may mga ka-work akong Pinoy at madami rin kaming nagiging customers na Pinoy. Fourteen years akong nasa showbiz kaya nagustuhan ko iyong challenge ng work ko ngayon,” she said.
Rich said that after more than a decade in the showbiz industry, she finds this new job of hers challenging.
“Fourteen years akong nasa showbiz kaya nagustuhan ko iyong challenge ng work ko ngayon. At mabait kasi ang boss ko at mga katrabaho kaya masaya sa trabaho,” she added.
Rich joined Starstruck in 2006 and became its first Princess in 2007. She also joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2009.
She also said that her relationship with husband Ben became stronger even during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Doon ko na-prove na kaya kong iwan ang lahat para sa kanya at sa pamilya namin,” she told the online news portal.
