Wally Bayola, who recently revealed that he contracted coronavirus disease (COVID-19), said that he was careless at first due to what he saw on social media.

So parang nadala ako, hindi ako nag-ma-mask. Parang napagod na ako mag-mask, napagod na ako ng face shield,” he said.

During a taping on Saturday, Wally said that he lost his voice and his co-host Paolo Ballesteros told him to stay away because he might have COVID-19.

He took a test on Monday and tested positive for the virus.

Meron pong COVID virus. Wag tayong maging relaxed. Wag nating isipin na gawa gawa lang yan,” he said.
