Fans of Sarah Geronimo dubbed as popsters gathered their forces and dance their way in order to raise funds for displaced families by the Taal Volcano eruption.
Almost 300 people attended the donation drive held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila. More than 600 people registered online according the event organizers.
The fans said that they have the blessing of Viva Entertainment, Geronimo’s talent agency in doing the fund raising campaign.
The proceeds of the event will directly go to the Philippine Red Cross.
‘Tala’ is currently a dance hit in the Philippines, three years since it was launched in 2016. It became the theme of various dance covers and viral videos.
Geronimo’s song also made its debut in the Billboard’s Chart as among the best selling digital song last week.
