Actress Sunshine Cruz posted a happy holiday photo with her three daughters Angelina, Samantha and Chesca on Christmas day.
The family photo, however, did not include Cesar Montano.
Sunshine also shared some photos of her kids with her current boyfriend Macky Mathay on Instagram.
On one of her photos, a netizen asked about Montano. “Di po ba in good terms sila sa biological father nila?” the netizen asked.
Sunshine answered that she always teaches her girls to understand their father’s situation.
“Tbh I teach my girls to just always understand him and the situation,” she said.
“Nagpaparamdam ang tatay nila once a year or minsan wala pa but then again it’s fine,” she added.
The actress also explained that her three daughters understand that their father Cesar has other priorities.
“Andito naman ako palagi for them. I think that alone is enough for them. Knowing I am here for them always. Happy Holidays,” she said.
Sunshine and Cesar separated in 2013.
She filed an annulment a year after their separation.
