A day after they successfully bagged the Guinness World record-breaking folk dance act in Sorsogon, Heart Evangelista and Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero are taking their time off to Japan.
“Happy, I finally got this guy to rest a little with me,” Heart wrote in one of her photos showing her and Escudero.
7,127 dancers joined the couple in the folk dance song “Pantomina sa Tinampo” held at the sa Kasanggayahan Festival ng Sorsogon last Thursday.
Giving the recognition to Sorsogon province was Swapnil Dangarikar from India, official adjudicator of the Guinness World Records.
Heart said that her husband Chiz conceptualized and planned the world record bid.
The couple danced for 30 minutes on the stage together with other folk dance partners.
“We did it! Congratulations to us 7,127 Sorsoganons for breaking the Guinness World Record for largest Filipino folk dance!” Heart wrote on her Instagram post.
She also congratulated her husband for the historic achievement.
