Veteran actress Alice Dixson has revealed that fame made her unprofessional actress when she was young.
Dixson’s career started in the 80s and one of the most sought after leading ladies of her generation.
In an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” Dixson confirmed that she was “maldita” when she was young.
“A lot of people got very upset with me. Because of my unprofessionalism, I lost a lot of work. That taught me na, ‘Hoy, mag ayos-ayos ka naman diyan,’” Dixson said.
She was always late on her shooting and film sets, and eventually earned the ‘primadonna’ tag. She also recalled that she always ends up arguing with Regal Films matriarch Lily Monteverde.
The actress believed that rising to stardom at an early age made her become too confident of herself.
“So lumaki ‘yung ulo ko,” Dixson said.
The actress then told Abunda that it was her husband Ronnie Miranda who kept her grounded.
Dixson said that she learned a lot from her experiences and helped her to make a showbiz comeback.
Dixson stars in the thriller film ‘Nuuk’ with Aga Muhlach.
