OFW feels: Rhea Santos reveals struggles living in Canada

Former Kapuso morning show host Rhea Santos revealed that migrating to Canada wasn’t easy and there were times that she almost wanted to go back home.

Recently, she launched her own Youtube channel to share her experiences in living in Canada.

“Everything happened in God’s perfect timing. It wasn’t all smooth. There were also hurdles along the way. Muntik pa ko umuwi,” Rhea shared on her Instagram account.

“But you know what, because of the challenges, it made the journey sweeter. Kwento ko na lang next time I’m starting a vlog and I’ve been working on it,” she added.

In a series of posts, she shared how she finds it challenging to start and build their ‘nest’ once again. She was seen unpacking their huge luggage and bags.

She also revealed on her Youtube vlog that the cold weather in Canada is challenging for her kids. 

Rhea is still learning to deal with homesickness. She often posts photos of her Kapuso colleagues, telling them that she misses them a lot especially their daily conversations.

Rhea also shared to her followers that apart from a vlog channel, she has returned to school in Canada at 40 years old.

Rhea is now taking up Broadcast and Online Journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
