Fans of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion were delighted to finally see the two in one stage and sang a duet for an advocacy event.
However some netizens were quick go point out that the ‘kilig’ or spark between them feels a little less than before.
“Siguro naman mas nakakatakot kung meron pa rin kaming nararamdaman para sa isa’t isa!” the Megastar replied.
Sharon said that most of the comments she received were those telling her that she and her former loveteam still has the chemistry.
“Uy it’s still there, the chemistry’—I don’t think it can ever go away. This despite knowing that I’m happily married and that he has his own family, as well,” she told reporters during the press conference of her upcoming concert ‘Iconic’ with Regine Velasquez.
Sharon recalled that the duet with Gabby was unplanned.
“I had prepared two songs. But we weren’t supposed to sing together. I didn’t even know that he would be there,” she said.
Sharon added that the two of them already patched things up after a supposed film project did not push through due to differences.
“You know what? Time has passed, and I think it’s OK. It was nice we talked, so we’re OK… It was nice that we could show everyone that we’re OK,” she added.
When asked if she is ready to do a movie again with Gabby, Sharon said that she is ready for it.
“If you ask me, I’m open to it. No problems. I’m a professional actor.”
