Vice Ganda remembers grandfather while doing grocery

‘Unkabogable’ star and TV host Vice Ganda revealed that there are things in life that money cannot buy.

Vice posted a tweet about buying fruits in a grocery and then suddenly remembered his moments with Lolo Gonzalo.

“Bumibili ako ng mga prutas. Bigla ko naalala Lolo ko. Mahilig sya sa mga prutas. Andami kong pambili. Pero wala na sya. Nagpipigil ako ng luha. Ang lungkot!,” Vice said in a tweet.

Vice’s grandfather Gonzalo Dacumos passed away in 2014.

He died on Christmas day after spending more than a week in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

In 2018 Vice admitted that he experienced depression.

“Na-depress ako. I underwent depression. I actually had to meet a doctor, and asked for professional help. Hindi ako nakakatulog, nagkakaroon ako ng anxiety attack. May mga atake sa akin, na nahihirapan ako magtrabaho,” Vice revealed.

The TV host even attempted to take a break from showbiz.

“Ang pinaka-magandang natutunan ko, ‘yung sinabing, ‘The mind is the playground of the devil.’ Kasi lahat tayo may purpose, e. Lalo na kami, ang laki ng binigay sa aming blessings, ang laki rin ng obligasyon nito. At ito ay may purpose kung bakit sa amin ibinigay,” Vice added.
