Pinoy dialect Tausug used in Netflix Korean drama series

Some dialogue in the Fantasy Korean drama “Arthdal Chronicles” that’s now available on Netflix is in Tausug, one of the languages in the Philippines.

A Filipino cast member, Nash Ang, who translated some lines for the Korean actor to recite for the TV series confirmed this.

The executives of the production company wanted to use a Southeast Asian dialect, according to a GMA News report.

Ang also shared his experience working with Korean actor Song Joong Ki, who gave him a hand warmer after shooting a scene amid very cold weather.
