The family of Eddie Garcia has not authorized nor consented to the withdrawal of life support, according to the family spokesperson.
“Please be informed that the family of Mr. Eddie Garcia has not authorized nor has it consented to withdrawal of life support,” Dr. Tony Rebosa said on Friday evening in a GMA News report.
“They have however agree to place him on DNR (do-not-resuscitate) status. Thank you,” he added.
On Sunday, Garcia’s doctors said the actor was in critical condition due to cervical fracture.
It was on Thursday that the doctors said the veteran actor was still in a comatose state and was dependent on a ventilator and medications to support his blood pressure
