Confined for a few days now, veteran actor Eddie Garcia is still under close observation and his family continue to ask for prayers.
Dr. Tony Rebosa, the family spokesperson and one of the attending physicians of the actor, sent a message to reporters on Wednesday, “EG is still valiantly fighting.”
Rebosa said Garcia had episodes of hypotension or low blood pressure throughout the day.
But as of late Wednesday evening, Garcia’s blood pressure is stable.
Meanwhile, Senator Grace Poe said safety measures should be in place during the shooting of TV or movies scenes.
“Isang bagay ‘yan dapat may medic dun na trained kasi siyempre kung sila sila lang, hindi naman nila alam papano magbigay ng paunang lunas, importante ‘yun. Hindi sa pagsisisi maski na kanino, pero importante na may nakastandby na doktor o medic doon,” she said.
