Grammy Award-winning pop superstar Ariana Grande made a special appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” to surprise the TNT boys.
The trio composed of Keifer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto, and Francis Concepcion, guested on the said US talk show hosted by English actor and comedian James Corden.
Corden is also the host of “The World’s Best” which is the US talent competition wherein the boys are competing.
Before they took the stage to perform, Corden said that the TNT Boys is his “favorite new boy band on planet Earth.”
The boys then performed Jennifer Holliday’s classic song “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from the musical “Dream Girls” not knowing that there was a surprise waiting for them.
As the boys reached the chorus of the song, Grande, who is one of the world’s biggest music artists today, came out from the backstage to belt out the song with the boys.
The TNT Boys, who are in utter shock, can’t believe that Grande is standing before them but still managed to deliver a powerful performance.
Corden then shared a story on why he decided to team up with Grande to surprise the trio.
“I came to meet you… Your first words were, ‘Oh my God, you’ve met Ariana Grande,'” he said.
Grande then expressed her admiration for the boys.
“I am obsessed with you, guys. You are so incredible. That was so beautiful,” she said.
Grande’s surprise appearance on the show came after she dominated the top three spots of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a feat that only The Beatles has achieved in 1964.
Being the first solo act and female artist to do so, Grande’s hit song “7 Rings”, “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored”, and “Thank U, Next” placed first, second, and third on the said chart respectively.
