Fathers of TNT Boys react to netizens saying their sons are “lambutin”

The singing trio TNT Boys, consisting of Francis Concepcion Jr, Mackie Empuerto, at Kiefer Sanchez, has been a subject of criticisms targetting their ‘soft personality’. However, their fathers cannot just sit back and wallow while their kids are being attacked by bashers.

According to Rod, Mackie’s father, he knows his son and that he is beaming with pride because of his son. He advised him just focus on showcasing his talent to the world and refrain from dwelling on negative comments about his sexuality.

Keifer’s father, Lito, also had the same sentiment. He said, “Kami ni Kiefer nasa positive side talaga kami palagi.

Meanwhile, Francis Sr. said that he is already aware of his child being effeminate, and that he will accept his “junior” no matter what.

Francis Jr who was watching his father’s interview in a separate room was not able to hold back the emotions.

“Iiyak ako. Tanggap ako ng tatay ko, guys,” he said.

Francis Sr added that he previously caught his son joining a dance showdown during a town feast.

Francis Sr said.

When Francis Jr found out that his father saw him, he got embarrassed and stopped dancing for good.

“Sabi ko, ‘Sige na! Ituloy mo!’ [Kaso] Ayaw na niya eh,” Francis Sr added.

The three fathers have been supportive of their children’s singing careers. They said that they are filled with joy whenever they would see their sons onstage. They would also give pieces of advice to them to improve their performances.

TNT Boys rose to prominence after they joined It’s Showtime’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan.

Since then, they have been featured internationally on the US and UK versions of “Little Big Shots”.

They also became the grand winner of the second season of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids”.
