Authorities arrested commercial model Zuher Bautista for possessing what are suspected to be party drugs and bottles of liquid ecstasy.
At around 10:00 PM last Monday, November 5, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) raided Bautista’s house in an exclusive subdivision in Mindanao Ave., Quezon City after they obtained the search warrant from Judge Virgilio Macaraig of Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 37, reported ABS-CBN News.
NBI said Bautista’s house is being used as a drug den and they would go to the suspect’s bedroom for drug sessions.
They were able to retrieve tablets of alleged party drugs which were mixed in a bowl with candies, as well as bottles containing solutions which are believed to be liquid ecstasy.
The authorities confiscated the suspected drugs and took them to a laboratory for further examination.
The report stated that Bautista would often do drug sessions with his fellow models.
The suspect strongly denied the accusations saying that he has stopped using drugs and that he is willing to undergo a drug test.
Bautista might face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
