A photo of John Lloyd Cruz riding a jeepney is making the rounds on social media.
According to a tweet posted by a netizen with the Twitter handle @norminapauline dated October 8, she was shocked when she rode a jeepney in UP Ikot in Quezon City and Cruz was among its passengers.
Cruz looked like an ordinary passenger donned in a simple shirt and shorts, paired with sunglasses.
But the netizen can’t help but gush over Cruz and say that he still looks handsome even though he looked far from his celebrity image at that moment.
“Yung nakasabay mo si John Lloyd Cruz sa Ikot. Huhu ang pogi pa rin,” the netizen said.

This isn’t the first time Cruz was spotted in public seemingly living the simple life of an ordinary citizen.
Last month, he was spotted at a fruit stand in Pasig buying fresh durian. In another instance, he was seen eating balut on a sidewalk.
It has been a year since Cruz and his girlfriend Ellen Adarna took a leave from their high-profile showbiz careers. They have been discreetly giving glimpses of their simple life and their son on their social media accounts.
