Coco Martin explains why he gives actors 2nd chances by appearing in “Ang Probinsyano”

Many former celebrities who have not been appearing on television lately have turned to Kapamilya star Coco Martin to ask for help with their showbiz comeback.

Martin has already helped CJ Ramos, Mark Lapid, Janno Gibbs, Joko Diaz, Julio Diaz, and the members of Viva Hot Babes, and many others return to show business by offering them a small part in his long-time running teleserye “Ang Probinsyano”.

Two of the celebrities that Martin reached out to most recently are 90s “split queen” Mystica and former child star Rhed Bustamante, who have both admitted that they have been struggling financially ever since their respective career floundered.

In an interview, Martin confirmed helping the two female celebrities saying that a part in “Ang Probinsyano” will not only help them with their monetary problems, but will also provide them an opportunity to prove their themselves.

Martin said that Bustamante should not be deprived of opportunities especially if her only objective is to help her family.

“Hindi dahil para mag come up lang ng kung sino ang nangangailangan.

On the other hand, Martin also clarified that he decided to help Mystica, not because he pitied her, but because there was really a vacant part in the said show.

Hindi naman dahil nakakaawa or kailangan nating tulungan,” he said.

Mystica said through a Facebook live video that she is now preparing for her role in “Ang Probinsyano”, while there are still no updates on Bustamante’s appearance.
