Former Miss USA and Miss Universe 2015 second runner-up Olivia Jordan took to social media that she will be tying the knot with her boyfriend Jay Hector.
Jordan posted a series of photos of her engagement with the caption, “He got down on one knee and asked if I could love him forever. Forever doesn’t even seem like enough.”
Hector, who is known for his role in the US TV series Hawaii Five-O, also posted the same photo on his Instagram account.
“I have fondly looked at you, knowing your naked hand needed a little something extra. I asked you to be my forever, your answer was everything & more I could have wished for,” Hector said on Instagram.
After the announcements, Filipino beauty queens commented on Jordan’s post to extend their congratulatory messages.
One of the queens who greeted Jordan was Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
Jordan and Wurtzbach both competed in the Miss Universe pageant in 2015, wherein the former finished as the second-runner up while the latter was crowned the winner.
Since Miss USA and Miss Universe are under the same management, Olivia and Pia were able to live together as roommates in New York City for a year. It is safe to say the during their time together, the two have established a good friendship.
“Congratulations Liv! I’m so happy for you! I’m so kilig for you,” Wurtzbach said.
Other Filipina beauty queens who congratulated Jordan include Miss World 2013 Megan Young, Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, and Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa.
