Filipino trio stuns Britain’s Got Talent judges

A group of three singers has once again showcased world-class Filipino talent on the international stage after they wowed the audience of Britain’s Got Talent.

The Miss Tres, consisting of members Mariko Ledesma, Mavy Cleofas, and Crissy Marie Rendon, stunned the live audience and the four judges of the talent competition, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell, David Williams, and Amanda Holden, with their unique and unexpected audition piece.

During the interview portion of their audition, the group told judge Simon Cowell that their dream is to become as big as girl groups Destiny’s Child or the Spice Girls.

As soon as the music started, the angelic voices of the three beautiful ladies immediately turned into the timbre of macho men as they sang Tom Jones’ hit song “Sex Bomb”.

After their performance, the four judges and the audience roared with loud applause.

“Your voices were fantastic, you look amazing, you’re just so hot it’s unfair!” judge Amanda said.

The group received four ‘yeses’ from the judges which made them qualified to continue on in the competition.

After their audition, the Miss Tres took to Facebook to thank everyone who supported and commended their group.

This isn’t the first time the group competed in a talent competition. Mariko, along with former members Mia Narciso, and Angel Sangalang, previously competed in the fourth season of Pilipinas Got Talent and the first season of Asia’s Got Talent.

Mariko, one of the original members, said that she and the new members of the group would like to dedicate their performance to her former groupmate Mia who passed away in 2016 due to stage 4 lung cancer.

The group shared that their stint in Britain’s Got Talent is their way to continue entertaining and inspiring other people.

As of press time, Miss Tres’ audition is the number 1 trending video in YouTube Philippines.
