LOOK: African woman is a fan of Pinoy teleserye

Kapamilya stars Enchong Dee and Maja Salvador met an African woman from Senegal who is a fan of their now-defunct TV series “Ina, Kapatid, Anak”.

As seen in an Instagram video, Dee and Salvador, who are currently in France, talked to an African woman named Alima who approached them while they were taking photos around Paris.

Dee even said that Alima called them Ethan and Margaux, their characters’ names in Ina, Kapatid, Anak.

Alima said that she has seen the widely watched Kapamilya show in Senegal.

“Shoutout to our beautiful and uber supportive Kapamilyas in Africa. We were having our photo taken when Alimah from Senegal went down from hop on hop off bus because she saw Ethan and Margaux from Ina, Kapatid, Anak together. Obviously, [Maja] and I were surprised. Hoping to visit some countries in Africa one day,” Dee captioned the video.

Ina, Kapatid, Anak, which is internationally known as “My Mother’s Daughter”, was a Philippine family drama which aired in 2012. It starred Dee and Salvador, together with Kim Chiu and Xian Lim.
