Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan was one of the many celebrities who were impressed with Pia Wurtzbach and Gerald Anderson’s movie, “My Perfect You”.
The movie, which was directed by top-billed director Cathy Garcia-Molina, was the first on-screen pairing of the two. It also happened to be Pia’s first major full-length movie under Star Cinema.
Due to the movie’s box-office success, the movie has now earned more than P100 million (more than Dh7 million). Pia broke out the incredible news on her social media account thanking everyone who watched her film.
In the said post, former Miss USA Olivia Jordan applauded her friend for the success of her movie saying that the film made her emotional.
“Omg Pia. This movie is so good. Still crying 6 hours later,” Olivia commented on Pia’s post.
Olivia and Pia both competed in the Miss Universe pageant in 2015, wherein the former finished as the second-runner up while the latter was crowned the winner.
Since Miss USA and Miss Universe are under the same management, Olivia and Pia were able to live together as roommates in New York City for a year. It is safe to say the during their time together, the two have established a good friendship.
“My Perfect You” is also now showing internationally on cinemas in the USA, Canada, and Middle East. It will also open in Australia and New Zealand on April 5.
Moreover, after the premiere of “My Perfect You” in the Philippines, Pia also paid a visit to Dubai for a meet-and-greet session with her Filipino fans last March 14 at The Watch House.
